Your Affirmation... with Review Sheet answers
I will be at school A block on Monday in case you need to check in with me.
Here's something to give you an affirmation. Watch this!
Dear PreCal Students, please BREATHE...
First off, take a DEEP breath...
Breathe in on count of 4, hold on count of 4, and breathe out on count of 4...
Repeat the above breathing rhythms 5 times...
In the last couple of weeks, I have noticed that the increasing stress and pressure at school have somewhat "blocked" the creative and brilliant brain cells for some of you. You have ALL the answers, and you understood the materials in the first few chapters very well when you learned them initially. It is now the time to synthesize them. And for that to happen, a happy and peaceful mind is required. So please do not stay up until 2 am before your exam. Please do not post on facebook how late you stayed up doing the Pre-Cal review packet. Please do not text each other with "freaking out" messages about math... And please spread positivity to each other. Give each other a pat on the back, a high 5, and encouraging words... OK?
Keep Calm and Rock On! May the force be with you!

Unit 2 Test Time --- Review Sheet Answers and a Reminder!
Hey class! You can find the answers to the three pages of the review packet attached above.
A reminder for the test. There will be a calculator and a non-calculator section. Please take the time to review the table of reference angle values. If you do not understand the principle behind that table, and are just memorizing it, it might be difficult. So draw these right triangles out and remember --- pythagorean theorem and right triangle trig are the grand-daddies of everything!
Good luck!

Unit 1 Test Time! (Review Sheet & Answers)
Time flies in our math classroom, doesn't it? It's the end of the 4th week and we are heading to Unit 1 Test on Friday, September 17th. You will find the review sheet here with the key answers. Please note that the document was in PDF format, and when I uploaded it to the website, the formatting got a little messed up. Bear with me while I continue to search for a better way to upload math documents that include all kinds of equations and graphs. I guess Blogger just doesn't like math equations very much... :(

Week 1: Functions, Functions & Functions!
This week, we begin our study of PreCal by reviewing functions, its notations, domain, range, graphs and transformations of graphs. Unfortunately, I am still figuring out how to upload a file that contains graphs without losing the graph! So see me for handouts.

PreCal goes to Live Blog!
The intention of this blog is for it to be a central warehouse of resources for the Pre-Calculus class. Here, you can find homework assignments, handouts for class, as well as posting questions for discussion. I am still relatively new to blogging. So please bear with me if I am a little slow updating. It probably just means that I am still figuring out the kinks with how to use this blog.
By the way, the logo of this blog --- the picture of the golden gate bridge --- was designed by Katie Eisemen in last year's PreCal class. It was a product of trigonometric function graphs and commendable patience with Mac Grapher! Thanks Katie!
